Mr. Anderson currently represents individuals, small and large businesses, banking and lending institutions in the areas of foreclosure, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and eviction matters for the States of Texas and New Mexico.
Mr. Anderson also serves as a Fee Attorney for a Texas title company with the capacity to issue state-wide title products and title insurance policies, with national underwriters, as well as handles the closing transactions of the REO properties upon conclusion of the foreclosure. Mr. Anderson is passionate about his practice and viewed as an instructor and expert in the area of default servicing by his peers. Frequently serving on the faculty for CLE programs, Mr. Anderson knows and understands default servicing at it roots.
Mr. Anderson has conducted seminars, in association with the National Business Institute, on the subject of Real Property Foreclosure addressing viable alternatives to Foreclosure and Commercial Foreclosures and Title Law. Mr. Anderson personally manages his foreclosure, bankruptcy and
eviction units to ensure strict guidelines and investor expectations are being followed. As a former Senior Counsel for the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation for nine years, Mr. Anderson understands the complexities of commercial and banking litigation and takes every step possible to ensure our clients are well-versed in making sound business decisions.

Mr. Vela’s practice includes a wide variety of civil litigation matters including personal injury litigation, utility damage litigation, collection litigation, construction law, creditor and consumer law cases, contract disputes, employment law cases, insurance law, intellectual property law, civil appeals, professional malpractice, real estate litigation and receiverships.
Upon graduation from Boston University School of Law, Mr. Vela clerked for a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, affording him invaluable insight into the judicial system. After his clerkship, Mr. Vela worked at one of the state’s largest insurance defense law firms where he enjoyed a busy and diverse litigation practice in the litigious hot bed of South Texas.
Mr. Vela has represented plaintiffs and defendants from around the country in litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout Texas and in Oklahoma. Mr. Vela has represented lenders with litigation matters in both federal and state courts throughout Texas and Oklahoma. His practice includes, but is not limited to, foreclosure litigation, eviction appeal litigation, collection litigation, creditor and consumer law cases, contract disputes, intellectual property law, real estate litigation, construction litigation and utility damage litigation. With his considerable litigation expertise, Mr. Vela works diligently to resolve disputes in an efficient and economically rational way always keeping the client’s interest and bottom line in mind. While his ultimate goal is to avoid litigation, he is well-prepared to handle whatever comes his way.
